Acrylic on canvas, hand-altered frame.
This piece began as a misstep—an accidental gesture that refused to be corrected. What emerged is a reflection on suppressed injustice, where the figure stands trapped in vibrant noise, boxed in by misunderstanding. It explores how error—whether systemic or personal—can shape identity, casting shadows where clarity should live. The Quiet Charge speaks to a kind of guilt imposed without proof, and innocence that’s never quite loud enough to be heard.
